| Digital Angle Finder to Tram This is mostly in theory right now until the angle finder shows up but I think it might work. I bought it for my table saw and miter saw but started to think it might work for the z axis on the mill. I did a little looking up just to see how much error is in 12 inches @ .1 degree and was amazed that it was only .00175 and if you where to use a 3 inch fly cutter your looking at .00044 I know this doesn't get the cutter trammed to the table but it would get the z axis trammed and then you would have to work your way to the cutter. Am I missing something huge here or am I out in left field picking my nose. | I get .02094" in 12 inches. The calculator doen't appear to function correctly unless you set the required output value to the correct units. Your value of 0.00175 is feet not inches. Phil ![]()

| Yeah, your right I new it had to be too good. I guess it could get you in pretty close fast but after that you would still have to get the dial indicator out. |
