| Limit Switches Do I need them? Can I do without them on an X2, G540 machine? |

| Yes, with steppers and fairly low to medium rapid rates. Steppers will just harmlessly stall where servos would burn up. You can always set software limits in Mach3. You SHOULD install home switches though. CR. |
