X2 Mini Mill vibration

Just for fun, I tried balancing a coin on the head of my mini mill, running at 7200 RPM. No problem

That is a still photograph ! I want see a movie. Run it through the speed range and find a speed where things get a bit resonant.

Honest, the machine is running. The flash freezes things so it looks like a still. Actually, there are a couple of points in the RPM range where a resonance sets in. But it's really smooth at 7,000 plus.

On this Thread, last post, SX3 high speed pulley ???

Mine was running at the time to or I wouldn't have been able to see the speed on the tach.

My camera makes it look dead stopped. it was running at the speed shown.
