Drip feed from PC to Emcotronic T02 is it possible? Hi I have a Emco VMC 100 cnc mill with a Emcotronic T02 control, is it possible to drip feed large programs through the RS232 port. Currently I think the memory is at the max 128Kb. I would be very greatful if anyone has any info on this. Cheers Adee

Hi Adee, Have you had any luck getting drip-feed to work? I have have a VMC-100 as well, and would like to be able to use DNC. Thanks, Dan

Oh well too bad, Thanks anyways... What Baud rate do you use for loading programs into memory via RS232? Mine is currentluy set at 2400 (by previous owner)... and I get a lot of errors, and sometimes it skips entire lines of code yet completes download... I plan to reduce it to 1200 but that seems painfully slow! Dan

Yeah 1200 BR, I found anything more than that with large programs say upto 9999 lines, would have errors, and yes painfully slow, but the machine is 25 years old (1986) Hope this as been some help Adee
