X2 died. Must revive!

Also, the X2's original board has a coating on it which makes it just that much more difficult to solder/desolder. And, the fuses are 5x20MM 5A, they're available at Ace in onesie twosies, but are expensive that way.

I checked out the KBIC-120. Looks like it's only rated to 1/2 hp, but my mill has a 4/5 hp. It would be nice to know if someone has actually hooked this up to a motor over 1/2 hp and had success.

Your X2 motor may be optimistically MARKED 4/5 HP but it IS only a 1/2 HP motor.

Yeah, I've also got serious doubts about that 4/5 hp (over)rating.

I could put "HEMI" badging on my Tacoma pickup, but it's still only got a 2.7L 4 cylinder.

Grizzly labels THEIR X2 version with the same motor as 3/4 horsepower, but the motor is laughably only 1/2 the size of the X3 motor which actually IS 3/4 horse.
