    my sieg x3 cnc enclosure

    Hi All,

Thought I would share a couple of piccys rfom my half finished enclosure I fabricated from steel. It still has polycarbonate screens to go in and there is a shower curtain that covers the back which is more than adequate.

Ill try to post some more as I finish it.

Nice to see another Sieg C4 owner But won't the enclosure cramp you for gear changing?

It looks like a good idea, but if I am seeing this right, your Y axis doesn't have enough room to come out. Unless the enclosure slides with the table somehow.

The Y axis is nearly at its full extent on the picture. Its only got about 4 more inches to go so I did give it plenty of room. The polycarb door will flip up giving easy access, there is plenty of room all round to get your work piece in!.

Good job then. I guess it was the camera angle, but it didn't look like it had enough room.

There for a little bit, I was happy to know I wasn't the only one that did stuff like that.
