Been lurking for a while and after reading some of halfnutz's posts i decided to take apart the head and clean the bearings in mineral spirits and grease them with wheel bearing grease. and I definitly notice a diference. just got this HF 33686 mill from a freind that had it and never used it for 4 yrs,,and i was making a tool post t-plate for my 10x22 lathe i couldnt take 30 thou a pass with the 3/4 end mill without the grinding or chatter or what i thought was the limit.. Well not now its all good taking twice that at 1200rpms/ .. buy the way anybody have a power feed from maybe the grizzly model that they need to sell after cnc'ingthere machine?? I own a hobby shop and theres always something i need to make. Jeff  |
