Hi I am New to this site, but have got the bug to build a 600mm 300mm router, that is the size of linear bearings I have obtained from a scrapped machine. I have started and bought the routout drivers to control some old stepper motors I had. I have constructed an aluminium frame with a chain drive for X and lead screws for the Y and Z. By problem is that my Z motor does not seem to have enought torque to drive the assembly up and runs away on down, does anybody have any surplus stepper motors. I am using an old laptop psu at 19V DC to dirve my axis. |
