CNC for dummies

Hi, I have been bitten by the CNC bug, I have spent many years using manual mills and lathes but this cnc stuff is all new to me, is there such a book as "CNC for DUMMIES".

I (and I'm sure a lot of other people) would love to get my hands on a copy or some other publication that basically outlines what, how, when etc.
Just a real basic CNC training aid for us new guys.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?, title, author etc.

Also is there a magazine publication dedicated to CNC?

The best "book" you will find is this forum! There are a lot of smart folks that not only give out information that you seek, but can answer questions when you run into problems.

You may want to look them over while waiting for a dedicated text for dummies. Start whith this link and on the bottom of the page you wil find the link for the next sequence of this article. Also you may want to google Dak engineering the have a very basic stuff introductory stuff, hope this helps,
