better late than never I guess. It will be stock for the standard X2 cnc conversion. The Freak parts would run a few hundred $ more. and no, I really don't plan on offering that any time soon ![]() Later Hoss

| Hahaha No I was just trying to find out just how far I could go. (bustin your ... well you know!) ![]() I already made mine I was wondering if you were throwing in the head tilting-extending stuff. I have not extended my Y axis yet as I am having to much fun just running it now but I will want to do it some time in the future. Probably whats holding me back, is the whole counter weight stuff. I just don't have room for it really and I my machine runs fine without it so far. Question: ... Is it worth it, I mean have you been finding a need for it more than not? If I did do it, I might put that on another Axis and build it like a rotary table out of aluminum to minimize the weight. Another Question: ... Was adding another base to extend your Y axis a pain and did you have to re-cut the dovetails to make them line up, and did yop have to make a new Gib? Anyhow ... Thanks Hoss Bill

| Hey Bill, Yeah it was worth it, I think. ![]() It will be apparent in the next couple projects I tackle. The extra capacity will make it much easier. The Y axis expansion wasn't that big a deal, nothing too difficult. I didn't have to remachine the dovetails, they were within .001, but I did lap them together when it was done. Hoss P.S. the Stock and Fastener kits page is up and running now.
