Found this joystick after searching for a cheap option to make a pendant control through USB on my Taig/Mach3 setup. Haven't tested it yet but I got the unit today, it has 3 joysticks on it 13 buttons, and the best part is that it is wireless. Should be useful for jogging, options, estop, cycle start, etc. For 10 bucks after rebate, I thought it might be too good to not share, I ordered it Sunday and it arrived today via standard ground: http://www.buy.com/prod/XFX-XGear-PC...206256813.html |

| I had issues with the Logitech wireless gamepad so I reverted to the wired one. The continuous jog would not continuously jog and it was a bit irritating. I hope you have better luck with this one. Scott

Here is a forum member that has gone an incredible conversion. He used an inexpensive wireless gamepad. There is also a video link showing it in operation. http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showth...=25895&page=14 Hope this helps. |

| So I snuck out to the garage for 10 minutes just to try the joystick out. I only had the v1.0 plugin for the joystick installed (need to update from Mach3 site) but it worked flawlessly for jogging at high speed and low in the X and y axis. I plugged and prayed, enabled the v1.0 joystick driver in Mach 3, and it automagically worked. Need an easy way to reverse jog direction mapping. Definitly worth 10 bucks after rebate tho. Anyone have a pointer to a good tutorial on how to map buttons to stuff in Mach 3? I saw the video from the link above but I couldn't figure it out after clicking around for 5 minutes, any pointers? |

| Any ideas on what the "user defined Keys 1-X" which are available do? I'm trying to find some options for toggling between screens and doing more advanced stuff with the keygrabber. What do the "page1-4" pages do? What is the point of those? Can you map more than one key combination to a specific button? |
