Well after many months of getting the right parts, the right electronics, asking alot of questions, SHE IS ALIVE. X-2 stripped of everything not relevant. KDN Tools conversion (they are an incredible company, HIGHLY Recommended), Gecko 203V, PMDX Boards, Half enclosure, Mach 3, Roller Home switches. The Enclosure is made from Scrap Corion Countertop Material, so easy to clean the chips off. Right now I'm a button pusher, still have some setup issues to resolve before I can let her run under G-Code. Here are some photos. Not sure if the homeing is working right: Z Head moves up,DRO reads positive X Table moves to the right, DRO reads Positive Y Table moves toward column, DRO reads Positive Not sure if those are correct, any comments welcomed. | Pardon me if I am wrong, But to home your axis's you want the tool to be in the bottom left corner of the table. So the table movement is correct. What is not correct is the DRO going in the positive direction as the table is moving to the right or into the pillar as these are negative movement in relation to the tool. Hence you need to swap your X and Y axis so the above is correct. |

Homing the Mill: Z Head goes to the top: Reads Positive going up X Tables goes to the Right, tool to the left: Read Positive Table moving right tool Left. Y Tables comes to the Front reads positive: Reads Negitive Table moving back. Is that right. I've read the Mach3 setup and for the life of me, I'm having trouble visualizing it. I'm sure it's me at this point. Thanks for the feed back. Smitty |

| Hi, It is hard to visulise, try looking at the tool as a pencil and your table as the paper. You want the tool homed at the bottom left corner. Now 'draw' a line diagonal to the opposite corner. As the pencil moves, X and Y moves in a positive direction. Your DRO's should advance in a positive way. John |
