I have a diy CNC based on an X3. Used it for a few jobs and realised that would be simpler to set up job, jigs and tooling if I had a simple probe. Looked on the web a wihile back and found a design on a european site of a probe. Have found references to the Shaun Wainford design but no trace of the German or Belguim? Anyone else found this alternative design? PCB was done on Eagle software. Or has anyone built a homebrew strain gauge version rather than the simple break circuit type? |
