I've had my X3 for almost a year and am curious what you fellers do to lube the spindle drive gears. I did the break-in procedure as specified in the Grizzly manual and also removed the side panel for access to spray all the gears down thoroughly with white lithium spray grease. There's no reason to suspect any trouble, no new noises, etc. It has not been converted to CNC so it doesn't wail away for long periods but I have been doing some aluminum work with the speed up high lately. What say ye gurus? |
