Bought a mill from a member on here its a X2 R8 machine. It has the 3/8- drawbar from a MT2-3 machine. It states R8 on the Id tag. What length is the stock drawbar. I need to fashion up a bar until I can get one here from little machine shop. Next day air is to expensive from Cali. to NC. Unless somebody nows a place to get one closer to the east coast. Grizzly doesent list one in there parts breakdown that I have found yet. Thanks everybody. |

| OK figured out in a total pinch you can use a 7/16-20 6 inch Grade 8 or L9 bolt, which is what I used and 2 L9 7/16 flat washers to secure an endmill holder. Has enough pull so that you still have to rapp the bolt with a brass hammer to get the holder loose. Should be OK for the light cuts I need to make now until my real drawbar arrives from LMS. |
