| Emco PC Mill 30 Questions I am looking for an EMCO PC Mill 30 to buy as this seems to be ideal for some of the work I need to do. 1) I was wondering if there is anyone out there that has one and what they think about it? 2) Does anyone knwo where I can get a service manual? I have tried EMCO and Blueridge Machinery. I found one on a college engineering site but do not hav ethe password. (I gotta get the mill too but am looking ahead) 3) Finally, any leads on schools or shops that have these that I can contact to see if they want to sell? Thanks, Lanb |

| I have one and think it is a great machine. Good luck on the manual. I paid $150 for my manual. Some guy had one and knew he had me over a barrel so he stuck it to me. It is an old machine so you will find no support for it anywhere. My best suggestion is to cut the motors loose from the controls and put in a new driver and use Mach 3. I have a wiring diagram for the motors that I got from France which is where the motors were made. The wiring diagram will make your life easier when you put in a new driver. As it stand now, the mill is a capable machine but it uses an old DOS program that is a pain to use. Your best bet is to upgrade it. |
