I just bought an older Prolight 1000 Desktop CNC mill. Unfortunately the contol has been taken for repairs to another machine. So I have bought the following: 3 Kelig 425 oz-in steppers. (I already fitted them to the frame axis) 3 Gecko 203V drivers. and a CNC4PC C11G breakout board. I have a computer and etc, to use with it. I have a power supply (54V 7.2A power supply). I think the DC spindle motor control is fried too. (Cant get current to go through it) (Minarik PCM2100A) a new one is available from the Manufacturer if so. Not a real problem. The spindle motor is pretty much toasted so I will have to replace it or have this one re-wound. I've replaced the spindle bearings on the quill. I need help in getting this turkey (in it's present condition) wired up and running. I'm a pretty good machinist if I say so myself but not a very good electrician. Help would be appreciated. I am in Washington state near Bremerton. Thanx. Jim Wright 360-275-8550 |

| Jim, If I recall correctly, Dan Mauch lives near Seattle. You might contact him through his website http://www.camtronics-cnc.com Dan builds controller units using Geckos. I think you can find a schematic for wiring the Geckos either on the Geckodrive website or on the Gecko yahoo group. http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/geckodrive Sometimes you can pick up Minarik controls through the "SurplusCenter". http://www.surpluscenter.com/ Alan
