    Exclamation table for super X3

    Alright ,
All you super X3 owners out there, I need to know the dem. of the bolt holes on the super X3. And I also need some ideas for a table. I thought of using a Kennedy work station, or simulair.

Although those will work, wou would be better off with somting a little more solid, most of the those now come with mdf or laminate surface. I would say butcher block or a hefty gauge steel would be best, if you are using an old one then more then likely it will be fine. It seems as of late at least people have not been putting a lot of thought into there tables and that is causing them problems.

I was thinking about getting a Super X3.. then decided on getting the X3 instead from Grizzly.. I was thinking about this subject too.. I have an older school teachers desk.. you know.. the heavy duty metal ones.. with the pop out typewriter table in it.. I was thinking of getting a 3/4 inch board of some kind to mount to the top of the desk.. pull the typewriter pop out table in it out and put some drawers in it for tools. This should be sturdy enough shouldn't it?

I would think so, I suppose it depends upon the legs and there mounting. You don't want any swaying when you push it from the side, account for leveling and get some decent machine mounts.

FroggyOne2, do not forget to keep in place the desk's modesty shield, if it has one, nothing like working in your underwear when someone stops by for a visit.
