Hi all, I think I've got the preliminary mechanical design complete for converting my X1 Micro Mill. Attached are some pdfs of the 3d model. I'm using NEMA 23 steppers. A 5/8" rolled ballscrew for the Z axis and the existing lead screws/nuts for the X & Y axis. Should be ready to start cutting metal soon.... Jeff |

| Hi, im also converting a re-branded x1 but have trouble with all axis (mostly near the ends of the screws), may need a counter-weight for the Z axis. Where did you get your ball screw and was it expensive? Im in England so if you know of a more local supplier that would be good. Cheers Shaun |
