I've tightened my band saw blade as tight as I can and even with the slightest pressure it seems to stop. The motor still going just the blade is slipping on the wheels? Any suggestions on this? Thanks |

| Make sure the pulleys that the blade rides on are clean and dry. You could also go over them with some medium grit sand paper to clean off the deposits that accumulate over time. Also make sure that you are actually snugging the blade (not too tight) and not just the tightening system binding. Ken |

| There is a bolt that makes the upper wheel pivot. You need it to be tightened also to make the belt ride against the rear lip of the pulleys. Make sure your blade does not have any missing teeth, as this will make the train jump track.
