OK, got a set of Igaging scales inbound,

Plan on using a power supply for the scales so I not reliying on the batteries, but the Question now just becomes how to bypass the auto display shut offs on the read outs so they are not shutting down every 5 mins.

Yes the out shut offs are more of a burden since the scales will hold there setting, and when you turn the back on, will still have the same reading, but would like to not have to have to re-hit the read out buttuns to turn the read-outs back on.

Does anyone know if this is tangible with cut or de-soldering on the boards, or is the auto shut off programed into the chip instead, and no easy way to get around it?
