    Stepper motor help

Can someone help me out here I'm new to this cnc conversion
I can only get 22 ipm with my steeper's before the buzz and stop
I have tried everything I can to get them to go faster with no luck

    My spec's are
    Motor
    Nema 23 400oz model 23HS2430 3A
    1.8 step angle
    3 amp
    1.6 phase resistance
    6.8 phase induct
    4 wire

    Driver
    DM542
    128 microstep
    1 amp to 4.2 amp
    18 to 50 VDC

    Power suppy
    350 watt 24 VDC

    Everything is from act-motor

My lead screw is 10 tpi
Everytime I try cutting any curve it studders I have CV turned on and
all the other setting for it turns off I am using mach3
What should my settings be in motor tuning in mach3 ?
Thanks for the help and this is a awesome forum for info
    Glad I found it.

What kind of machine? Ball screws, acme screws, or other?

Based on an inductance of 6.8, you should be at about 80V for your power supply (sqrt(6.8)*32). So, you are basically getting 1/3 of your motors potential power.

The acme screw is a lot more drag than ballscrews, and the voltage is just about directly proportional to speed. So, 1/3 the voltage and you are at 1/3 the speed. Factor in the acme screw and you could potentially get a whole lot more speed if you had the correct voltage and ballscrews

    Ok thanks for the info
I will get a bigger power supply
I have 2 24 volt one's is there a way to use both to get 48 volts ?
I was thinking the same way as a 2 battery to double the volts will this work lol
Just a shot in the dark here

    Thanks
