    In need of a part on a tool makers Vise.

    Im in need of the part in the middle of a tool makers vise . The bottom of the part I need has a pin that goes through it and the top has a 1/4in cap bolt . Its whats on the end of the cap screw when you tighten the vise.
    I broke mine. And need a replacement.
    If any one has one please let me know.

    Make one. You have a sample, or why do you even need the vice?
    Super X3. 3600rpm. Sheridan 6"x24" Lathe + more. Three ways to fix things: The right way, the other way, and maybe your way, which is possibly a faster wrong way.

    Well lets ponder for a minute that maybe this is your only vise and it's inoperable to help you make a replacement part.
    Check out Mcmaster for a clevis or female shanked rod end to try and fix it.
