    Newbie

Hello all, I just found this site and I'm very excited about it. I am considering buying a Taig 7 x 12 mini-lathe from cumminstools.com since this is the best price I have found, 399.99. I would like to hear your input and opinions about this machine and the price.

I have heard that a new model, 12 x 20 ? is coming out soon, anyone know of this yet?

I have been a cnc machinst for 13 years now on 3,4 & 5 axis machines and now I'm facinated with the cnc retrofits of these little lathes and mills. I have found a very large and enthusiastic following in the cyber world and can hardly wait to get my own set up and running.

    Thanks

Just to clarify, The 7x10,12,20, etc lathes are not made by Taig or called Taig, The Taig lathe is a different machine made in the USA.
