G0602 Threading Guide ( Windows App )

Hello CNCZone.

Recently purchasing a G0602, I decided to write a small windows application to assist in selecting the threading gears and gear box selection. It's nothing monumental and I did it as much for the fun of writing it as I did for its practical use.




Download, unzip, and install the MSI file. It'll drop an icon on your desktop and a shortcut to the Programs menu under a folder titled RWeyUtils.

I'm not sure. The app is for the Grizzly G0602 10" x 22" benchtop. There's even more threading combos available if you cheat with the 104 tooth gear in place of the 120, but I haven't yet revised to the app to consider that.

Also, there's really no reason this sort of app couldn't be written for any lathe requiring quadrant gear changes ... but I'd need access to each brand and model to take the appropriate pictures. Don't think I'll be doing that any time soon
