    Need your advice! SX4

    Hello!

Please, could you help to choose the mill. I like the sieg SX4. But there is too little information about it (reviews, comments). Therefore I decide to ask you. May be there are users, who have experience in work with SX4. SX4 advantages, disadvantages?
Or may be you could advice me any better milling machine, according to it`s price.
By the way, where it will be better to by SX4 to me? I`m from Latvia, Riga(EU).

    Thank you.

    P.S. Sorry for my english.

Thank you for your attention. Could you give me advice, what will be advantageous BF 30 (clone)AMA30LV Milling Machine or SX4? Price difference is about 1200 USD.

    2. Is SX4 gives so many advantages before Bf30?
    3. For example, is SX4 or BF30 able to cut the head of engine block?
    4. Or cut stanless steel?

P.S. I would like to make the good choice. But I can`t imagine the abilities of this mills. That`s why I need yours advices.

Unfortunately I have no experience with either machine but a suggestion here would be; has either machine the travel capabilities (i.e. can the Z axis move high enough including tool & collet length and the X,Y axis move enough to machine your engine blocks..?)… and either could machine Stainless Steel not only is it down to motor HP but even a smaller rated motor could safely machine Stainless only you’d have to reduce feeds and speeds respectively though…..it really is up to your requirements and your ability and or feasible time constraints as to whether you can take on a cheaper machine with a larger CNC conversion build or purchase a slightly dearer machine which gives you most of your requirements with little conversion….

I hope I haven’t confused you more but there really is loads of help here as you progress…
