It's likely still one of these diagrams depending on which breakout board it uses.

First off, love the site. Great information that has helped me tons on my build.
I bought a
KL-4030-36
Controller box.
I am having difficulty in finding what my pin placements are for my motor outputs (for mach3). Pretty dissapointed the 450 dollar setup came with zero instructions.
I have tried calling them to figure this out, but nobody will answer the phone.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I am a total newbie and am stuck.
Thanks for your time.

Thanks for the reply sir. I have spent hours watching you videos, they are excellent!
I am sorry, I am not good with this stuff. Those links are foreign to me, this is the one I bought.
Brand New 3 Axis Controller for any NEMA23 Stepper motors
1: 3 PCS KL-4030 Bipolar Drivers, 40V, 3.0A
2: 1 PCS 36V/8.8A Power Supply, 115V/230V
3: 1 PC Breakout Board for 6 axis, Isolated signal,
Case With E-Stop, x, y, z limit Switch wired
This tells us nowt, maybe its best if you were to post sharp pics of the controller/driver and BOB?3: 1 PC Breakout Board for 6 axis, Isolated signal,
Case With E-Stop, x, y, z limit Switch wired
Watch towards the end of the 4th video here to see typical setting for the 4030 drivers in Mach 3.
Video Instructions how to wire CNC electronics of Stepping motors and Drivers
It's likely they are using the same pins for the drivers in the box.

On the Keling site they have a link to this '
http://www.kelinginc.net/Controlbox.pdf
Looks like it has all the info you are looking for. The funnny thing is the link is listed as specifactions and not wiring or hook up info but it appears to have all that is needed.

Appreciate the link and your time, but mine doesn't look like that in the picture.
Thanks for your effort everyone. I am gonna call Keling, and return it. Its probably fine, but lack of customer support or any instructions at all has turned me off to them. There own website said whoever makes your machine should include info on pin positions. I realize most people are much smarter than me on this stuff, but I am a newbie and am trying my best to figure it out.
I build guns for a living, but this stuff if way over my head. I can understand not being able to run a program or actually make something, but simple installation instructions is what all of my components have lacked thus far. Making this beyond frustrating.
Thanks for the time.
I hate to here you going to send it back, Keling is normally one of the better places to work with.
One thing I did just find, they are changing web sites and the name of the company so they may be covered up in the middle of this.
I did find there new website ( JUst went down to there section in the forum) and found the info and manual to your control box.
Here is there new website.
Automation Technology Inc. | Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, CNC Stepper Motors, Stepper Drivers, CNC Kits, Stepper Kits Automation Technology Inc
And here is the manual to your control box.
KL-4030-36 3 Axis CNC Stepper Motor Controller Automation Technology Inc
Well at the bottom of the page is a link to the manual.
This stuff is not as hard as it appears when your new looking in. Infact its quit easy even if yuo dont have any electronic or CNC expeirance. You will soooner or latter have to learn about most of this stuff if you intend to run a CNC machine with any of these hobby style kits on a machine. And even though it does appear to be very involved, its not really. There may be a lot in volumn, but as you dig in it gets much much easier as you go.
I believe the manual I liked to shows everything you will need, all though you will need to learn abit about Mach3 and how to setup the pins. Just go one step at a time and when you get hung up on something make a post about it and the awnsers should be there.
BTW Automation Technologies is the new name for keling. On down the forum in the "Commersial Products Support" section of the forum they have there own section which should help to get any info you may need, or even quicker contact with Keling. I am not sure but they may have new Email and contact numbers with the name change.

all of what lucky13 says is true and I'm no electronics expert either I've just asked questions here and relied on the guy's to respond to help me too...
I have no connection either with Keling but yup I agree that they are actually one of the better liked (and I'm also using their stuff so I can vouch from experience) and jeez I was really astonished to hear that you got no reply either...!
hope you stick with it and if you do welcome to a whole new world of machining stuff![]()

The heck of it is we all go through it. I even built my whole setup then but my machine on the back burner. Then I went to make changes to the electronics box and its been setting again. Now I have to start from scratch because after it set for two years I totally forget how it all was hooked up.
ANyway the last manual I linked two I am pretty sure its the one to your setup. If not there is one other one with the same numbers ( not sure why they have two boxes with the same numbers) and I think it might of had a slightly different manual. There new website is pretty easy to find stuff so just go to the control box section if I did list wrong one and the one needed will be there.
I have bought from them several times and I didnt know abou the changes until I went looking for your info. Inafct I thought they where gone at first until I figured otu they changed the name ( funny how the old site didnt reflect that, or if it did I didnt see where so.).

Thanks alot for your posts. I am gonna keep the box and stick it out. I will some how figure it out. I may post an ad to see if I can pay someone local to help me figure it out. Its just frustrating to finally totally complete the build and can't even see the motors run. LOL.
I will keep trying.
Well something funny happened today.
It all finally started working great, but then I decided to purchase Mach3. It ran fine in demo mode, then it was and is near impossible for me to figure out how to make the upgrade take place.
Oh well, pissed 175 bucks away it looks like.
Now Mach is not recognising my port in diagnostics mode and nothing works again.
Someone could make a killing if they could make a controller box and software that wasn't finicky and actually worked. This is becoming beyond annoying.
