Too much time on my hand

Just another video of a DIY machine but this time I am proud to say that 80% of it is home made with only the motor drivers (the rest of the electronics are hand-made) and the Z axis (better precision than I could get with hand tools) bought …the rest is all my work

Thanks, right now I am working on PWM to 120V 60Hz AC I get the pulse signal from Mach3 so I am working on TTL interface to my RotoZip RZ1 I hope to come with universal solution so anyone can have it (final testing stages can get it down to ~ 5k rpm from ~22k and maintaining good torque). The other project I have in mind is the real time voltage and Amperage consumption displayed on 4 x 20 LCD (probably 16f84a based) and close loop solution probably will come from the axis rather than the motors…also it will help in calibration…so my work is cut out for me….shoot did I mention I only have GED… I am ready for a bumpy ride!!!

U get caught too much stirring the gravy when yer focus should be on the machine… any way WHEN I will have time to learn video editing and invest in decent camcorder then you will have better video so for now all u get is the video out of my iPhone. Now back to my other priorities

After my G0704 is converted, I would like to start making one of these as well.

I have a JDSU 180 watt laser head I would like to use in place of the highspeed dremel/routers.

*YES its 180 watts. not milli watts. It can weld certain metals at its highest level.

BTW does anyone know of a automatic tool changer that can fit the Rotozip...I wish I had a lathe so I can make my own spindle but I don't. i thought I saw something a little while back
