| Easy heatsink for Hot treadmill motors Alum u-channel (20 pcs-6"), 4" pipestraps (for dryer vents), heatsink grease... total $15 Temp dropped from 160F to 125F

| great idea did the drop is temp stay at 125f? or was it like clamping more metal to to the motor so after time it gets back to 160f anyway. Im thinking about doing this to some of my servo motors |

| Ran it for an hour no-load. May still need a fan but at least I can touch the case without getting burned.

| I have a fan on mine, and after an hour of running with a load its still not too hot, it does get warm. Without a fan it gets rediculously hot. Jon

| How about wrapping some sheet aluminum over your new heatsink and adding a muffin fan on the end so it will blow air over/thru the heatsinks. It should drop the temp further.
