    Anyone got....

Anyone got a TRULY free PDF to DXF file converter that works? I got a file I need to convert and I cannot seem to find one that does not have strings attached. I know this may come off as sounding like a cheap ass but hey I resemble that from time to time. Thanks guys...peace

    Pete,
I had one that I used at one time that was a "demo" that allowed you to do I think it was ten drawings. I can't seem to find it on my hard drive right now, but will keep looking.
Most as you have found out aren't worth a crap! Lines are broken and line width is atrocious.

PS: When I was working for a living, I also had good luck (most of the time) asking the client to submit either dxf or dwg files that I could use.

    Pete,
No bother, and I have tried a BUNCH of the totally free ones and none were worth the cost of the download. I even had a fairly expensive program for doing graphical files and it was only so so.
Yep, had a nice quiet Christmas like I like and looking forward to the new year.

Yeh, and it bounced back because your ISP didn't approve of the attachment.
Have resent by zipping after changing the extension. Also have found what I think is the url to the source so you can also download the updated version of the trial program.

    Cool thanks man.....

I will give it a shot. Anyone else have a nice program that is free or real cheap and DOES NOT require all sorts of alterations to the drawing once it is converted...? Also any other CNC related files that you think are must have maybe this thread would be good for that kinda stuff so feel free to post. Peace
