I recently bought a ProLIGHT 1000, 2000 with ATC, and a 3000 with turret.

I'm looking for the PCI board for the 1000, but I may do the modifications to drive it, via another members work on 'reverse engineering' the cards functions / pinouts.

Has anyone converted a 2000 over to something with newer servo control, and perhaps the Ajax system? I'm going to test later today with a DOS-based computer running the PLM2000A software, which is supposed to support the ATC.

There's quite a few pro's and cons with each machine.

1000 - Stepper upgrades, drivers, Mach3

2000 - Servo / encoder upgrades, drivers, Mach3 (but don't know if the ATC can be supported).

Any help or insight would be appreciated.
