KoolMist - PORTaMIST: added check valve

WOW. if you have one of these already you probably love it. I was constantly annoyed however that when turned off air would get sucked back into the coolant line and I would have to run it wide open for a while to get it charged. then between cuts it would take another 20-90 second to charge again.

I ordered a check valve from mcmaster carr for $10 (pn 7768K21), installed at the sprayer and no more air. Unexpectedly the flow is about 100% better too. I'm thinking air bubbles were getting trapped in the hose and screwing it up because it was inconsistent pressure/mix ratios. not any more. turn the knob and a beautiful mist comes out immediately and I can finally adjust it all the was down to practically nothing and repeat it easily.

I'm so impressed with the impertinent I had to share.

I actually purchased the F/F and had to get a M/M to install, but the part number should be for the correct one.
