Roland MDX-540 Benchtop milling machine

I'm looking at purchasing one of these machines. This model from Roland is like 5 to 6 yrs in the market now from what Roland told me. I'd like to know if anyone here has worked with one or used one or even own's one? My background is mechanical engineering, product development, and rapid prototyping. The full size VMF is out of the question, because the parts I'm working with now are fairly small for example 12" x 12" x 0.25". Thanks

I have used the MD X500 for about 10 yrs. That was the older version of that machine and it is a great machine for the money. I would be glad to answer any questions if I can.

We have a MDX 540 A with full original equipment for sale. Fully functional - no defects.
Excellent machine if you want to mill 3D prototypes from STL-files. Really nice user interface.

Machine is located in Frankfurt, Germany. We bought the machine in 2009 from Roland Denmark.We sell it, since we need a bigger machine.

It goes for 16.000 EUR plus Vat (if applicable) and shipping.
