I just built myself a 1/2" round end incremental sheet metal forming tool out of a 1/2" piece of rod. Then I clamped a sheet of aluminum to the table and manually tried to fold it at 90 degrees over the edge of the table with it. It worked but not as well as I'd like. I was spraying wd-40 on it, ran about 2000 rpm, I think I did it within 6 passes both ways with a lot of downward pressure. What shall I do to get better results? More rpm? More numerous passes with less pressure each pass? shall I only climb mill it or only traditional mill it? More wd-40?
