Anyone else have problems with wd-40 cans clogging up?

I'm having problems with wd-40 cans that are nowhere near empty clogging up on me. Does this happen to everyone else too? Seams like the colder it is the more likely it is to happen too. What causes this and can anything be done about it?

    Slashmaster,

There is a red dot on the edge of the container. If the nozzle is not pointed towards the dot, CO2 may escape without drawing the liquid.

Unfortunately the CO2 can be exhausted before consuming all the liquid hence a 1/4 full can that you can't use.

    Purchase the non-aerosol product instead.

You could also buy it by the gallon and put it in your own squirt bottle for about a third the cost per ounce. No aerosol to leak out or clogs.....

    Jeff,

I have the WD-40 Smart Straw. Does it have this problem? If so where is the red dot on the edge of the container or other indicator?

    Thanks

Agreed, never lost a drop with the smart straw, but I have now recently switched over to the gallon container with the spray bottle (wish they made one with a straw!).

    Just makes "cents"
