The exact same one I have is for a Proform # m-215392, there is one here.

Balls, got beat out literally 5 seconds to go on a used Ebay reprap so on to plan B,
ordering the parts I need to build one from scratch with small kits and parts from here and there.
Looks like I'll be able to build a Prusa with all new pieces for around $500.
Don't need to pay for someone else putting it all in one box for me.
I'll pass on the links when I'm done shopping.

    3D printer

Hey Hoss,Take a look at the Seemecnc printer. 351.00 comes with everything, parts, electronics, steppers. The plastic parts are in the house injection molded not printed like most. They have a following on Yahoo that is getting huge. I have bought my machine already.Just want to show you the other options.
This machine is made by a Cnc shop.

    Holy Cr*p
That looks awesome! Unfortunately I already spent $600 for parts for a Reprap Prusa.
    Dang my impatience.
Oh well, whatcha gonna do. Most has already shipped.
I added some goodies like linear bearings, a heated bed and RAMPS 1.4 w/Arduino electronics.
Thanks though, I'll most likely make that my second printer, hey they're small, take two.
I'll likely get the $259 kit cause I already have several power supplies and driver boards I'm not using.

That is the one I bought. Nice quality kit. I have it all assembled and just need to find time to wire the electronics. I sure was hoping Hoss went the same route but the one he picked is nice as well. Can't wait to see it up and going.

Definitely will pick up one of the SeeMeCNC kits soon, will get this one built first.
One of the nice things about this Prusa will be being able to run directly from an SD card and not need to keep the laptop hooked up.
    That's the plan anyway.

Wow. I just ordered the main kit for the Prusa from Maker Farm on Friday and tracking shows it out for delivery already.
    Linear Prusa v2 Kit
This site is great, he lists all the other components you would need to finish the Prusa.
I went for this upgrade kit with linear bearings and different electronics that they list
but if you went bare bones the cost would be about $465 complete, less if you get steppers on ebay for $50 cheaper.
Get my rods tomorrow from mcmaster so I can start putting this puppy together.

I ordered a SeeMeCNC full kit yesterday and it is backordered. But they say 10 days or so to fulfill so that is not too bad. I like the fact it uses Mach. I got the upgraded bearing package too. Should be a fun little project that my high school son can help with.

I've been following RepRap for a few years. It really is surprising how little real information there is on actually making things with the machine. Even finding the plastic filament is a bit of a challenge, most companies seem to be out (especially the "good" colors!).

    cheers,

I still like the reprap design better, looks much sturdier but I'll be getting the Seemecnc too.
The price difference comes from them using one of the cheap chinese drivers for the electronics and Mach 3.
If someone had to buy the license then the savings go out the window.
Not much of a problem for us.
I'm waiting for an email from Seeme about their temp control board, I already have one
of the chinese driver boards and power supply and can get steppers on ebay cheap
so I may only need their $149 kit.
I really like their extruder design that could use either 3mm or 1.75mm filament.
They just emailed me back while I was typing this so game on, just need this kit and change a resistor.
Thermostat Kit MK138 - All Spectrum Electronics
There are some places on ebay selling filament in all the colors available, search reprap filament.
I'm getting some from UltiMachine | RepRap 3D Printer Supply

Just an FYI, the $149 kit is in stock, order sent, they are VERY helpful and quick with email questions.
