Absolutely not a real saw blade. The tooth profile is exagerrated. Probably made from polished aluminum.

For Halloween I want to dress up as this rock star Blackie Lawless from W.A.S.P. who often has outfits with circular saw blades sticking out. Here is a prime example. http://theywillrockyou.com/wp-conten...ackiephoto.jpg My question is how do you think that was done? Do you think it started out as a real circular saw blade that's cut in half? If so I'm sure it was cut in half with a grinder right? Circular saw blades are too tough to cut any other way right? How did they drill the holes to attach it to the leather?

Those don't look like typical circular saw blades. However, real saw blades could be cut in half easily using waterjet. I'd recommend dulling the tips so as to not cause catastrophic damage to one's self.![]()

It looks attached either by having a slit in the lower portion that a piece of leather could go through and riveted on either side or its butt welded to another aluminum piece formed around his forearm, then riveted as well.
Your best bet might be a jig saw/scroll saw/band saw cut polished aluminum with a small bend on the bottom (for stability for sticking out at 90* from your arm) and some leather straps running through a slit above the bend to wrap around your arm. Then just wear some tacky harley leathers.
Better yet, just cut them out of cardboard and wrap them in tin foil for super cheap ! No one gets hurt either LOL.

Prolly acrylic cut pieces later chromed. Bases could be glued, piece of cake actually. You could print a letter size sheet with the outline, saw it off by hand, sand a bit and glue a base to it with adhesives for acrylics. You could use cnc or laser cut I guess.
