    Vise info needed

I ordered a G0704 for some knife making related work. i was planning to order this vise from Grizzly but it is back ordered about a month longer than the mill/drill.

    http://grizzly.com/products/Premium-...-Vise-4-/G7156

Does anyone know where I can get the same swivel vise for about the same money instead of having to wait a month after the mill arrives to get to work.

    Thanks

    John

I agree if you can afford 3 times the cost.
You can buy a lot of aspirin for $200.

I am a complete noobe to machining. What diferences will there be between the two vises? Also what size clamping set would fit the G0704?

The dfference will be in the accuracy of the vise surfaces,
"Accurate to .002" on parallelism and Squareness" vs. .0005.
You can find clamping kits that will work here under accessories.

    That's odd, the T-slots on my PM25MV are 12MM (.472")

I'm wondering if they are different tables.
