So, I am removing a thin layer by first creating a canal so to speak in the material
then i am slowly grinding the remaining layer by grinding the edge of the material wall with the bit.
when i do this by hand, i can quickly run through the material without causing any damage or going too deep into the material.
when i try to go at the same speed with my cnc, my bit ends up riding on top of the material instead of grinding through it
it seems the bit or the motor or bit (3.17mm shaft) doesnt have enough rigidity to hold, up, idk im not sure.
does anyone have suggestions on how i can more quickly grind through this layer (from the side)
you can post your work here, then maybe I can help with a gradual G-code, most of the time it`s not the CNC machine that has a culprit, it`s the aggressive CAM method that is the problem.
