Default Y travel for PM-25MV with the optional DRO?

I would like to know how much the DRO option reduces the Y travel of this machine (actually what the reduced travel is). The manual states the DRO may reduce the travel. I emailed them but got a vague answer. Anyone have one that can tell me? On the Grizzly G0704/G0759 it reduces it considerably but that can be overcome by spacers. On the PM25MV the column is attached differently and can't be moved with simple spacer blocks.

I have one with the DRO option. Technically, the X-Axis DRO shield reduces the y-axis about 1.1 inches, but in reality my 4-inch vise stops the y-axis travel (running up against the Accordion Way Cover on the column) before the x-axis shield does. I've never found myself in a situation where it was a problem.
