    Default BF25 cnc mill conversion

Hello, my name is stef i am 24 years old and come from Holland.
2 years a go i bought me self a bf25 mill, i used it for almost one year, afther that i had to opportunity to buy a BF45 mill.
After having installed the new mill the bf25 had no use anymore. I decided to convert that one to cnc.
finished the conversion about 4 months ago. Made some very nice work pieces on it. But the mill was starting to get a little bit to small.
The y axis had only 175mm of travel. This weekend i started to add more space to the y axis with a column spacer and a head spacer.
The column spacer i already in place and the head spacer is also finished but not yet placed. This mod give me a travel of 250mm on the y axis.

I already put a 3 phase 1.1 kW motor on top with a 2:1 reduction witch gives me a spindle rpm of 6000.
The head spacer will give me also the opportunity to place the milling motor more to the back. This wil give me enough space to place a big air cilinder above the spindle for making a ATC on it.
The ATC is a big thing on my wish list. Probably will add a 12 of 16 places loader on it.

    Machine specs:

    X and Y nema 24 3NM closed loop motors
Z axis nema 34 8NM closed loop motor
Spindle motor 1.1kw 3 phase motor
    electronics: usbcnc v5b
    Mist coolant

    now time for some pictures!

Today I installed the headspacer. It looks great! Yesterday i bought a air cilinder the same as on the tormach so i can start working on the ATC.

Very nice build and parts you have made.

A lazy man does it twice.

I extend the column with 88mm.
The head spacer is 65mm thick.
