Does anyone want a complete but not final tuned X2 hybrid mill?
Basically we're moving out of state on short notice and this isn't going to come along.
I listed it on fleabay but we all know how much of a joy that can be.
I'd really rather sell the whole lot because I don't want a bunch of parts hanging around.
The full details are under item # 301729994802 , but heres the summary:
HF 44991 saddle, table, Z carriage, spindle, motor, and spindle control
LMS base & solid column
LMS belt conversion
Keling / Automation Tech 381 oz in steppers, Gecko 540, USB UC100, limit switchs, 48v/7A power supply
CNC Fusion X2 kit with preloaded screws, Lovejoy couplers, with a longer Y screw on order
Scraped & lapped ways (garnet, non embedding) with a 3 step wash done twice before assemly
A bunch of accessories
USB wireless MPG
so on and so on.
I got the machine setup and reliably moving repeatably with no load to less then a thou, with snug gibs. I was at the point of installing limit switches and dialing Mach 3 comp factors in when this all came to a head.
I can take it with me, but it'll have to site for a year or so, and that seems a waste.

Take it with you. I had to put mine on hold a couple of times. Once for over a year.

Everything is sold and on its way to its new home.
Hopefully I can revisit a similar project sooner rather than later.
