Well dug into the electronics a little bit more. The motor is a 1hp 8000 rpm dc motor, controlled by a minarik electric co speed controller. The steppers are 150oz/in superior electric slo-syn. Seems like everything is really high quality and done right. I was debating on selling it, but have changed my mind. I'm going to try and map out what I can and attempt to integrate what's already there instead of gutting good stuff. I'm getting my x3 finally up and running and purchased tools so it will be nice to compliment it with a similar sized lathe.

The silver cable exits out the rear. The power plugs into the wall, and the silver cable I'm assuming is the 0-10v signal cable to control the speed, and direction. There is a encoder on the wheel of the spindle also so I'm not sure if that outputs to Mach also, or if the speed controller handles all that.

This thread turned silent. I tried to PM diyengineer but his box is full.
