I'm in the same boat as amateurnewby, but has lerma updated the guide to not cut the lines? I have a set in great condition and would hate to do something and not be able to repair or completely go to waste. Thanks! Great work btw.
I know it's a crime to revive old threads, but I can't locate the pdf of how to convert this anywhere.

Wheres the PDF? I can't find it.
Hello I am very interested in your information, I have a light machine and it is in very good condition. I have had it for a long while and now I have time to take a look at it. I am wondering if you have ever updated and posted your finished work on the light machine. If you have any further information It would be welcome.
Did you ever update your PDF? If so how would I receive it?
I just recently picked up 2 of these Spectralight 0200 machines with the controllers, but no motion controller boards/pcs/software/dongles
I am planning on selling one complete set off... if anyone is interested PM me...
debating going this route and converting the existing controller or building a new controller box based around newer drivers and such.
Other than quick and cheap, is there any other reason to stick with the original controllers or the parallel port connection?

Have you converted your machines yet? I just purchased some light machines, prolight 3000, eXpertmill 0600 and a Benchman 2000. I would appreciate any information on converting these machines to be able to use mach3 or any other cnc setup that is current
No - I have been holding off - to much going on, and still working IT even with the quarantining...
I have found a few different sources, none of them agree on what size power supply i should get to replace the main controller.
