The mill is the basic unit, without DROs or power feeds. While I expect to convert it to CNC in the future, for now I will be using it as a manual machine.
I'm not going to get high-precision glass scales, because they are only going to be temporary. Rather, I'm planning to put a set of the newer, moderately-priced, stainless igaging DROs on the machine. Before ordering them it would be good to know the dimensions (axis lengths, principally) of the DRO scales that are offered as options for the machine (or of scales that have been retrofitted to the machine).
