Replacing Ball Bearings in a Ballscrew Nut...
I recently aquired a ballscrew in fairly good condition although the ballscrew nuts have been pulled off the ballscrew and all of the ball bearings have been lost. (This happened long before I got them) Now I would like to reload the nut with new ball bearings but I am unable to find any information about the ballscrew nut online to determine the ballbearing size needed. Does anyone have a good way to determine what size ball bearings I need to reload it? The ballscrew nut is a Tsubaki with a number engraved on the side: 584-0493-10. There is also somthing hand written on the end that I am unsure if it was just a user or the manufacterer but it either says: "S-88" or "88-S" I cant determine the orientation.
