    KL350 power supply fan

I am finally building a proper box for my electronics and trying to decide how to arrange the components. I have a KL350-36 power supply and can't figure out which way the fan is designed to blow (in or out) since it's never gotten hot enough to trigger the fan. I am providing a case fan to cool the drivers and want to make sure it doesn't work against the PS fan. Can anyone shed some light on this?

    hello
i would think that it should blow the same way as the existing fan.
if the existing fan blows out of the box, the new fan should blow out,
    and vise versa.
there is usually an arrow on the sides of these fans indicating a direction.
this may be a chicken and egg question :-)

I guess I'll have to open up the power supply to see if I can find arrows on the fan?

Why not temporarily cover all the vent holes in the PSU case, and carefully run it until hot enough to turn the fan on?

    That's an idea. Thanks, Crevice.
I'm really surprised at how cool the PS has run. I've run the machine at a pretty good clip for a couple of hours at a time and nothing seems to get very warm, even the drivers and steppers. I guess that's good??
