Keiling motors and G540 connections Help

Hi all,

I am looking for someone that can tell if I am wired up correctly before I power up and let the smoke out.

I have keiling KL23H286-20-8B motors and a G540.

I want to run bipolar parralel.

First of all you woul;dn't let the smoke out. The G540's have oustanding short circuit protection.
The wiring is correct per the data sheet but to be honest I have looked at thousands of data sheets and never seen one where the designations were done that way.
What I look for is the * which tells you the phasing of one winding to another.
so *a is connected to *c for pin 9 and so on.
Your wiring is correct. add a 2.8K resistor to pins 1 and 5

Now I am confused. I am working on the exact same set up. Looking at g540 docs it appears that pin 9 is -a and pin 8 is +a pin 7 -b and pin 6 +b. Which according to keling wiring diagram would mean pin 9 red & blu, pin 8 red/wht & blu/wht, pin 7 grn & blk, pin 6 grn/wht & blk/wht. Could someone please clarify.
Newbie so don't know if this is the right place to post but here goes.

thanx

The phase names are names only; generally when you see a motor control labeled "A", "/A", "B" and "/B" the different letters refer to the two windings. An 8-wire motor adds a bit of confusion to this by throwing in different letters for the names of the wires. You have the right idea in the first post for the wiring.
