Ok I am looking at getting this package from Keiling.... http://www.kelinginc.net/ThreeXCNCPackage2.html CNC 3 Axis Package with 270 oz-in motor and KL-4030 Bipolar Driver with 36V/8.8A Power Supply I am just wondering who here has experience with this? Main points of consideration are the KL-4030 driver I cant much info on it at all, can it do mircosteps if so how many? Also the power supply is 36V/8.8A I dont know what the motors in this package are rated to at all? Looks like a great package but a little thin on the information side of things... So any input from experience or if there is a link to find more information then great |

| I bought 2 kits from Keiling about a year ago, the 270oz kit for a lathe conversion and a 425oz kit for a Sieg X2 conversion. Must say they work like a charm, was a bit hard finding info on the specs and getting it all going, but you can find all the info on this site here. The KL-4030 runs at 1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32 and 1/64 micro steps, but I just run my motors on a 1/8 step. The 270oz motors are rated at 2.8A as on that page you supplier, so you can set the kl-4030 driver to 2.7A to be safe. But the Keiling Kits are worth it, Great Price, Good Quality. |
