Hi nikodell. Welcome to the Zone!

They ship from Chicago--usually ship same day as ordered. About 2 days delivery by Priority mail.

Thought I would point out that some items ship from China. I was under the impression the items shipped from Chicago as well. I bought a controller 3 weeks ago and emailed John last week and he stated that they shipped it from China. LAME as I thought it was built here in the states

Yes. Apparently John sometimes drop-ships, although his address is Chicago. I recently got a package from him that was shipped from California. Arrived by UPS. Still only took three days from order to receipt though.

Uh, other than Gecko, I don't know if anything else he sells is made in USA.

I must say though John or Lisa need to get there stuff straight. I ordered a 4 axis controller almost four weeks ago and it just shipped today. That after talking to him last week stating it just shipped from China.

I would definatly check with John to see what he has in stock because this was some poor communication

It IS possible that the item you ordered was out of stock and was part of HIS order from China--Hence YOUR shipment a week later.

Yeah, but it would have been nice if they said something other than it shipped the first time I contacted them. I think it was just bad communication on both parts. I havn't recieved my item yet but as of right now I don't regret the purchase, John still is a nice guy and all. As long as it comes in one piece I still would buy from them again.

    Thumbs up

When I ordered a stepper that was out of stock John refunded the money and sent an email explaining when the next batch was due. This within 40 minutes of my order.

If there are any issues he is aware of he is upfront about it. I have ordered from him about six times now.

I will point out his product line has expanded, so I can see that some details might slip through the cracks at times.
